So I pretty much stopped listening to hip hop for a while but i am getting back into it again. I'm not familiar with any of the new sh*t. sh*t that I like includes:

Outkast
Gangstarr
Jay-Z (older stuff)
Nas (older stuff)
Brother Ali
Akrobatik
Madvillain
Wu-Tang

I love DJ Premier's beats as well as sh*t like 9th Wonder and Madlib as well.

Anybody have some recommendations for me to check out?

I would greatly appreciate it guys!!!

Based on his old music choices... I don't think you'll dig this sh*t^^^. try Mos Def, Common, Dead Prez and Lupe Fiasco. That sounds more your speed.
