Check out your options, there should be a choice to pick which dock shows up. There has to be because I was able to keep hide the tabbed dock and keep the other when I was using it. I'm using Rocketdock now though. Nothing special, but I thought it would work with Sysstats, which didn't seem to work when I had Objectdock. Doesn't work now with Rocketdock so I'm still a little pissed about that
