Nothing against your desktop, I just personally dislike compiz fusion. I never had any problems with any distros, I plainly don't like any open source OSs.

i had the same problem and fixed it easily with my xp computer. you right click on da recycling bin icon -> select rocketdock -> icon settings -> under icons, select the current icon of your recycling bin (not the icon u want to appear) -> then u browse for the icon u want to appear -> select it -> then press OK
