I use both on my Eternity depending on the situation. MMS is useful on the fly while e-mail is useful for more in-depth messages or when the person getting the message(s) doesn't have texting.

The iPhone is great and all, but like you mentioned it isn't for everyone. From personal experience, I wouldn't get an iPhone either. I have an iPod touch and having the keyboard integrated into the software is a bit of a pain. Having a physical keyboard is much better. That's why I stick with my BlackBerry Bold. It has e-mail, MMS, SMS, full html browsing, 3G, you name it. Of course you can't jailbreak it like the iPhone, but I wouldn't jailbreak my iPhone if I had one. A phone is a phone, I need it to be as reliable as possible. I don't want to miss an emergency phone call because my springboard crashed because of a bug in the jailbreak.

I bought a Samsung Eternity, which does the same amount and more than the iPhone stock and can be customized somewhat with more customization on the way since it is only about a month old right now so it'll take some time to get everything updated, upgraded, hacked, modded, and so forth. I paid about $170 for this phone through AT&T's site, which is more expensive than other places. You can get it under $100 in other places, but I didn't look around before purchasing it. I just invested in the invisibleSHIELD, which is the best protection you can get for an electronic device without getting something bulky and expensive. It's working like a charm. Scratch proof, military grade, pure awesomeness. I recommend getting it if you want to protect your electronics.

No, I only bought this phone because I read a ton of reviews on it and 99% of them were positive or extremely positive. Most of the reviews also said that the phone was better and cheaper than the iPhone. I don't just go buy something because it's the newest, latest thing. I bought the phone based on user reviews, features, cost(s), and so forth. I put in several days of research and comparing and contrasting against other phones including the iPhone.

I actually saw this on the AT&T website around the time I was looking for an upgrade for my phone. I saw it, got interested in it, did a ton of research, and wound up getting it as a Christmas present.

I bought and installed the "invisibleSHIELD to my Eternity and it works great. It feels almost the exactly the same as without it on, it's barely noticeable, it improves the grip on the device, it protects my phone from scratches and such, and it was only $20 for the complete coverage with my discount I received through the Eternity site.

Motorola Razr 2 V8 2GB. I had the phone for a good minute and I really like camshell type phones. :shrug:

Nonetheless though the Razr 2 been good to me, aint really have no problems with it, sleek, small, weightless, etc. besides the 300kb file limit you can only send through text messages. :smh:

1. right click desktop - arrange icons by - uncheck 'show desktop icons' = poof... all gone, including recycle bin

Yes Windows 7 can be customized, you can either go the patch your theme.dll route (free, let's you use 3rd party themes) or go the Windowblinds route (free, if hacked). Check this (http://www.blogsdna.com/2231/how-to-patch-uxthemedll-in-windows-7-to-install-custom-windows-7-themes-style.htm) out for more information on how to patch your theme.dll on Windows 7, this also applies to Windows XP I have my theme.dll patched.

Here go some Goolge search results as well on how to patch it. After you patch it then you'll be able to run 3rd party themes, it's a simple as download, move to your theme folder and apply the theme.. 1-2-3, simple.

Well, I'm already running 4GB of RAM on my system, but it's a little choppy in performance when I try to run numerous larger programs at the same time so I think adding more AS WELL AS upgrading my graphics/video card(s), if possible, would definitely make my system run a lot smoother and better looking.

Sorry, I didn't get to this sooner, but sometimes (not all the time) when I'm listening to music and I'll be, I don't know, switching between windows or something, the music will get chopped up for a second. It's not really a problem, but I'd rather have it not do it then do it. I do understand that it's probably my motherboard, though. I've already figured that since it's probably not the best one I could have had in this laptop.

Sounds weird to me, might be due to your soundcard not setup properly? Sound accelerator?I did a Google search and found a little tweak that might help out your problem. http://forums.winamp.com/showthread.php?postid=1212926#post121292 6

I'm using Winamp with "CAD" (CD Art Display) (http://www.cdartdisplay.com/). It should be compatible with Windows 7 since they usually do updates frequently. I think the skin you seeing in my shot is customized by me though. I been using CAD for a good minute now, good program. :agreement1:

Dude how the hell do you get it to look like that??? I been trying to mess with rainmeter for the past hour or so and i'm stuck...lol...

all did was close all but 1 original skin from rainmeter, then downloaded a bunch of other skins and just used the ones i wanted. then got rid of the last original skin. not sure how well you know rainmeter, if u need help shoot me a pm ill try to help you
