the trick is to turn off XP's theming service before installing Windowblinds, since WB has it's own theming service. WB's theming service saves more RAM than the native XP's theming service.

ok.......first let me say my bad to people like paralex and lake and all the others that have been answerin the same questions over & over, but i dl'ed avedesk and have been fu*kin around with, and the only icons i can make are the my computer and recycle bin ones, i cant figure out how to change all my other icons, and i dl'ed that rk launcher and after i make the icons with avedesk i can't figure out how to get them in the rk bar, plus everytime i restart my comp., the avedesk icons arent there i gotta open them w/ my avedesk exe. file, also the old icons stay on my desktop after i make the new ones, i feel like an idiot right now but i'm stuck, if anybody takes pity on me and feels like explainin a little bout my problem i would appreciate it, if not its all good, heres what i got so far tho..........

And I haven't changed my theme since last week. I don't change it every hour, I have better things to do. Matter of fact, it only takes me like 5 minutes to change a whole theme, it's not like it takes hours.

And customization doesn't show a fasion statement. The point of customization is to set up your desktop the way you like and be different from everyone else.

It's technically all mac (as if it doesn't already own windows, as soon as Mac OSX 10.5: 'Lepoard' comes out, macs will have boot camp so u can run both OSX and XP (hopefully vista by then too) therefore making pc's pretty much obsolete) sh*t but, there's backgrounds which are for both OS (operating systems)'s of course

It's technically all mac (as if it doesn't already own windows, as soon as Mac OSX 10.5: 'Lepoard' comes out, macs will have boot camp so u can run both OSX and XP (hopefully vista by then too) therefore making pc's pretty much obsolete) sh*t but, there's backgrounds which are for both OS (operating systems)'s of course


PCs obsolete??? LOL get real guy. Macs are still overpriced and the average consumer is not gonna pay that much for a computer. A Mac you paying a G for it no matter what. I can build a PC for $400. And even if people start paying that much it will take years for Macs SW to have as many program options. For instance on a Mac the burner program is Toast period, u have others but they not worth mentioning. For PCs you have Roxio, Nero, Ashampoo, CloneCD, Real Player, Winamp etc....... PCs have decades b4 being obsolete should even be mentions

Just because Apple added support for Windows to be installed on their new intel machines, doesn't mean that everyone will go running to get an iMac or MBP. I'll be getting an intel iMac in June so I can dual-boot OS X and Windows. So I can have all the burner programs ;).

it still all depends on how the SW is written. I wouldnt be surprised if somehow u wouldnt be able to run certain windows programs on the MAC

An unverified anonymous source claims that Apple stores are receiving materials for a new window display that's labeled "do not open until Tuesday, May 9th." The source also claims that Apple has directed its stores to push iBook sales this weekend, presumably to clear out inventory.

Recent rumors have pointed to the Macbook being released in May, but no specific date had been given.
