i'm w/ you on this one! the show does get a little repetitive at times w/ michael and link always getting away.. but i guess if they didn't we wouldn't have a show to watch every monday. :lol: it does keep you on the edge of your seat throughout the show. i'd like to see a little more focus on some of the other characters in the future..

"Prison Break" actor in car crash that killed teen

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) - Actor Lane Garrison of the popular U.S. television show "Prison Break" was in a car accident late on Saturday that killed a 17-year-old boy and injured two other teenagers, Beverly Hills police said on Sunday.

Garrison, 26, was inside his sport utility vehicle when it crashed into a tree in Beverly Hills at about 11:50 p.m. local time, Sergeant Shan Davis said, adding that police were still investigating which of the car's four occupants was driving and what caused the collision.

Garrison received minor injuries, but a 17-year-old boy was pronounced dead at Cedars Sinai Medical Center following the accident. Two 15-year-old girls were also injured, one critically.

Garrison plays "Tweener" on the Fox jailhouse drama "Prison Break." Fox is a unit of News Corp.

BEVERLY HILLS, California (AP) -- Eyewitnesses said actor Lane Garrison of TV's "Prison Break" showed signs he may have been drinking the night the car he was driving crashed into a tree, killing a teenage passenger and injuring two others, police said Monday.

"Mr. Garrison displayed symptoms of alcohol intoxication, and the investigation into Mr. Garrison's impairment is ongoing," police Lt. Mitch McCann said at a news conference Monday.

McCann would not say whether police tested Garrison's blood-alcohol level. The actor suffered minor injuries.

Garrison, 26, has not been charged with any crime and won't be before the investigation is completed in about six to eight weeks, McCann said.

The identities of the 17-year-old boy who died and the two injured girls, both 15, were withheld because of department policy on juveniles, McCann said in a phone interview.

The accident occurred about 11:50 p.m. Saturday when the sport-utility vehicle jumped a curb. The boy was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where he died. One girl was treated and released. The other, initially reported in critical condition, fluctuated between guarded and serious condition Monday at the hospital, McCann said.

The teenagers were unrelated to Garrison, and their connection was part of the investigation, McCann said.

Garrison's publicist, Catherine Olim, did not return phone calls Sunday or Monday.

Garrison, a Dallas native, plays "Tweener" on the Fox drama series "Prison Break." He has worked mainly in television, but appears in the upcoming film "Shooter," which is due out next year.

The Los Angeles County coroner's office could not release the dead boy's name because of the continuing police investigation.

Well forgive me for not remember exactly it went down. That is the only way for them to find her is for one of them to give up. She threw the cell phone away and has no way to get in contact with them. BEVERLY HILLS, Calif. - "Prison Break" actor Lane Garrison should be charged with manslaughter and drunken driving for a car crash that killed a teenage passenger and injured two others, police said Wednesday.


Police Chief David L. Snowden said investigators have asked county prosecutors to charge Garrison, 26, with felony gross vehicular manslaughter; driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs; and contributing to the delinquency of a minor.

Investigators recommended that the DUI allegation carry the enhancement that he had a blood-alcohol level of 0.15 percent or more. An adult driver in California is legally over the limit at 0.08 percent.

Jane Robison, a spokeswoman for the Los Angeles County district attorney, said that the police report was under review but that no decision had been made on whether to file charges.

Garrison's Land Rover jumped a curb and struck a tree Dec. 2, killing 17-year-old Beverly Hills High School student Vahaghn Setian and injuring two 15-year-old girls also in the vehicle. Garrison suffered minor injuries.

Garrison's attorney, Harland Braun, said the police decision to announce details of the investigation before charges have been filed was "a totally irresponsible thing."

"It was basically a public trial ... designed to influence potential jurors," Braun said.

Braun said he had not yet seen any of the evidence or police reports on the investigation.

Snowden said Garrison had a blood-alcohol level of 0.20 percent. After the crash, police said, the actor volunteered to submit a blood sample, and analysis of it found he also had cocaine in his system.

Police were waiting to hear from the district attorney's office before making an arrest.

If charged and convicted of gross vehicular manslaughter, Garrison, a Dallas native who plays "Tweener" on the Fox drama, could face up to 10 years in prison.

Braun has said previously that Garrison met the youths at a grocery store and accompanied them to a party, where he had one drink. He told the Los Angeles Times that Garrison didn't remember anything about the accident after waking up in a hospital.

Snowden alleged that Garrison gave alcohol to the teens more than once that evening.

The Garrison case marked the second time this week that crash investigators have asked for charges against a Hollywood celebrity in a traffic death.

On Monday, the California Highway Patrol recommended to the Los Angeles city attorney that actress-singer Brandy, 27, be charged with misdemeanor vehicular manslaughter for a freeway chain-reaction crash that killed a woman motorist in December.
