Yes. Because he had the talent this year to do it and when it got to playoff time they looked NOTHING AT ALL like they did during the season. They played flat throughout the whole playoffs and he should have been able to find a way to light a fire under them some how. I mean if you cant come out and compete to the best of your ability every game in the playoffs then there is something wrong. And like I said nothing less than the Stanley Cup was acceptable and to be completely embarrassed like that is ridiculous. Losing all 3 home games against the Sens? Come on.

Well, as we've seen with my Mets in the MLB, your placement in the standings means nothing if you cannot back it up in the playoffs. The Devils were in 1st place in their division as far as I remember so hopefully we can keep that like that for a while and take it through the playoffs.
