I dont even remember all that happened last season I started watching this show season 4 and I been watching seasons 1,2, and 3 catching up

Palmer's nuke is just a scare tactic and it works and the anonymous middle eastern country reveals that it has captured a man named Habib and he has information regarding Fayed.

Fayed has already been secured and Jack is going to town and kicking the crap out of him. Doyle wants to just end this right now and kill Fayed for the thousands of lives he has taken but Jack won't go that far and there's a little power struggle here. Jack wants to take Fayed back to CTU so that he can really have some fun with him. Fayed is loaded into a Field Ops vehicle and they escort him back to CTU.

Habib's men ambush the CTU convoy (this doesn't sound familiar right?). Jack and Doyle fall to the ground and their fate is unknown. Habib's men rush to secure Fayed and they quickly take off. Fayed has been rescued!

Just as the terrorists vehicle disappears from view Jack and Doyle and the others get up to reveal that this is all an elaborte hoax and Fayed has actually been rescued by undercover federal agents.

holy sh*t, that was one of the best 24 episodes ever. easily the best of the season, in my opinion.

it had about 8 'WOW' moments, and doyle's little 'damn, jack' line was the best line ever in the series, and in the same episode we got jack saying, "now we're gonna have some fun" right before he killed a dude! two of the sickest lines in 24 history, in the same episode
