Johan is head and shoulders above anyone else as the best pitcher in baseball. He's absolutely filthy. I don't even know who would be number 2. Probably a log jam including Roy Halladay, Peavy, Oswalt and Chris Carpenter.

yea i like santana as the best overall pitcher. But I love Tom Glavine's change up, and Clemens if he played might be right next to santana.

Felix is gonna do some MAJOR THINGS...i just hope my Mariners can hold onto him, they always lose their prospects cause they cant afford them

Just hope that he dosent hurt his arm. We had Francisco Liriano last year and was doing real good intill he hurt his arm. That would have been the best one/two punch in baseball with him and Santana.

accept the red sox in clutch situations :) and i think we are talking about starters not a guy to come in for 10 pitches...in the end papelbon will dominate. but im not saying mariano aint good.
i have to say that felix was NASTY against the sox. but johan has to be the best. i dont think that carpenter is 2nd. halladay is nasty...so far beckett has been nasty. but i dont consider him the best..

ok so a few blown saves out of how many thousand?...that only proves he's human...
But if we're only talking starters then Johan is the obvious answer...

yeah that was a huge blown save in game 4 but he owned the sox for most of his career and he looked good against them last year...

yeah. mariano was good pre 2004. He's too old now. I'm sure the skankies are going to try to buy Papelbon pretty soon (best closer in the game, dude is fu*king lights out.)
starting pitcher.. I'd have to go with santana, although felix hernandez has some pretty serious sh*t for a 20 year old.

Most consistent or opinion best? Dontrelle Willis is serious as hell. :blunt: He had an off season last year but mannn the Marlins NEVER score runs when he pitches. He had 20 plus wins 2 seasons ago and is currently 3-0. :blunt: Plus the boi can hit homeruns like it ain't shytt. :blunt:

Chris Young ain't bad but if he gets runners on 1st his slow as hell delivery automatically gives the runner 2nd
